Yesterday, we treated PowerInTheNameOfJesus, in which we showed that name carries identity and purpose; represents authority and  given  access.  And  that  the  name  of  Jesus  confers  upon  the  users the image of Jesus to access the Throne room, and control the creation, etc. Today, we shall be addressing: Topic: THE CONFORMITY OF EVERY CREATURE Subtexts: Rom.8:28,31; 1Cor.15:25-28; Phil.2:9-10 The place of knowledge in life cannot be overemphasized as the quality of life displayed is  a function  of  what one knows (Pro.24:3-5). As  we have severally been told that one is what he knows. When someone comes  to  know  what  belongs  to  him,  the  person  will  act  in  accordance with  it.  Real  knowledge  is  not  the  superficial  mental  acceptance  of  an information  but  a deep  heart  awareness  of  the  truth.  The  Greek  word used  for such knowledge is ӗido  (pronouncedi‟-do) which is knowledge in full, through perception or observation; or fullness of knowledge. This  is  the  kind  of knowledge  the  apostle  had  about divine  oversight of the events around the called who loves God (Rom.8:28). It is the knowledge required on the achievements of Jesus Christ in order to command authority as a “more-than-conqueror” believer (Rom.8:28). Majority of the believers function below this capacity. Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthianbelievers of the reigning Lord Jesus handing over dominion to the Father after death has been abolished; and  to  the  Philippians, he  informed  of  the  unassailable  status  of  Jesus after submitting to death; that subjugates every creature to His name. We shall briefly expose the Personinquestion, theprocessthat yieldedthestatusand the complianceofthecreatures.    

1. THE PERSON (Isa.9:6; Dan.2:34-35; Mic.5:2; Jn.1:1-4,14; 13:9; 6:28; Col.1:15-17; Heb.1:2-3; Rev.1:8,11; 22:13)

Jesus is the Word that has been existing since eternity;  by Whom all things were created and proceeded from the Father as a Person. He shares  the  nature  of  the  Father  and  so  accepted  worship  that  belongs only  to  God  because  He  is  God.  At  the  end  of  the  human  age,  He  will stay under the Father as a Member of the Godhead, yet distinct (1Cor.15:27-28).

1. THE PROCESS OF THE STATUS (Isa.53:10-11; Jn.3:14-15; 12:24,25; Phil.2:6-9; Col.2:15).

The divine submission to the status of a creature and subjection to most horrible death, carrying all sin and consequences satisfied the Father, Who  rewarded  Him with  the  unrivalled  exaltation.  He  paid  the  price  for salvation in all realms of human existence: spiritual, mental and physical realms; dying poor in all realms (2Cor.8:9).

1. THE COMPLIANCE OF THE CREATURES

This  is  where  knowledge  matters.  The  exaltation  of  Christ  is  very  well known by all: spirit beings–angels of God and fallen angels alike. While on earth there were instances of little delays before obedience by some devils (Mk.5:6-13,  8:23-25). This  was permitted to teach the disciples that there could be times of delay by stubborn spirits to test one‟s knowledge and  faith  (Mk.11:23).  But  now,  no devil  will  delay  to  obey Him, for He unreservedly disgraced them. But  for  the  disciples  of  Christ  living  here  on  earth,  there  will  always  be times of assessment of the believer‟s faith, hence „delay‟ in manifestation. The Holy Spirit informed us that at the name of Jesus, every knee SHOULD bow (Phil.2:10). He didn‟t say every knee must bow! „Should‟  is  a modal  verb  used  to  indicate  obligation,expectation,duty, recommendation,advisabilityandexpectedprobability. All  creatures  are  expected  or  obligated  to  obey  (bow)  at  the  name  of Jesus,  but  the  rebels  will  want  to  disobey except the  believer  enforces it. There is a place to ENFORCE the word of God. The decision to enforce the word will make the disciple patiently stand on his ground until obedience is exercised (2Cor.10:6). The believer must  stand  in  his  declaration  or  decree  based  on  God‟s  word  until  the creature complies and the situation changes.       The Lord Jesus is always around the believer making declarations in His name, and He promised to do it (Jn.14:12-14; Mk.11:23-24). It  must  be  remembered  that  inanimate  objects  reacted  at  the  death  of Jesus (Matt.27:45-52) and respond to the words of an anointed servant of God (Josh.10:12-14). Trees respond to the word (Matt.21:18-22; 11:23). The Lord Jesus  paid a perfect  price,  and  His  name is  the currency  of transaction in the kingdom. When we  come  in the  name  of Jesus no  one  has the  power to  oppose, no gate can be shut against us, and no creature can remain recalcitrant (Matt.19:26; Jn.14:12,14). Jesus is the Name that gives the answer to your challenges.
