We also stated that the scriptural references of “God remembering something” were the attribution of human characteristics to God (anthropomorphism) were by God‟s character of faithfulness, mercifulness and love are expressed. These qualities are displayed when the following matters are at stake: His covenant and promises; His people are in need; evil acts of generations; and works of faith. Topic GOD IS THE ETERNAL SOVEREIGN Subtexts: Isa. 43:10-13; 46:1-5, 9-10 Sovereign is a supreme ruler and „eternal‟ means lasting or existing forever; without end. Our  subtexts attest  to  the  truth as  God Himself gave His testimony. There  are many  sovereigns  (creatures)  but  only  one  Eternal  Sovereign.  He  is  omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Therefore, He is fully aware of all challenges being faced by all and has the capacity to thrash them. He assures His people of  His ever presence and gave the key to accessing His limitless capability: faith and prayers, which we shall deploy today as we call upon Him. To boost our faith for the intercession, let us consider the following events:

1. God‟s ability to create the universe in six days (Gen.2:1-2).
2. God‟s strategic use of flood water to wipe out the race of giants and their wickedness (Gen.6:1-7; 7:14-21).
3. The effortless silencing of the vision of men that sought to exalt themselves in the land of Shinar (Gen.11:1-8).

1. The miraculous provision and preservation of a nation in the wilderness/desert for 40 years (Deut.8:4,14-18).
2. The divine strategy for the restoration of a besieged/beleaguered Samaria after the prophesy of a man of God (2kgs.6:24-30; 7:1-16).
3. The silencing of Sennacherib who bragged about his insurmountable prowess (Isa.37:36-38).
4. The divine humbling of king Nebuchadnezzar who was bloated with the pride of his success (Dan.4:31-37).
5. The  divine wisdom adopted  to  bruise  the  head  of  the  serpent  by  means  of self-destruction (Acts 4:20-28; 1Cor.2:7-9; Col.2:15).

  With these considerations of the ability of the Eternal Sovereign, let us pray. PRAYER POINTS  Gen. 21:1-3, 26:13: Pray that the Lord will visit the Watchmen as He promised.      Let us pray for the G.S and his family Ps. 21:1-7: For joy of fulfillment of heart desire Jos. 14:12: that  the  Watchman  will  be  a model  indeed  of  peace,  purity  and heavenly purpose. Heb.  11:12:  that there be influx of salvable persons into the Movement to make the expected great multitude; as old timers are refreshed/renewed. Ps. 103:2-5: that the Lord will renew his strength, health. Isa. 8:18: pray for the health and progress of all members of the GS‟household.  Ps.  20:1-6:  let  us  pray  for  the  Diocesan  Pastor  and  his  household  that  the Lord will achieve their purpose and fulfill His promises.  Heb. 6:12: let  us  pray  for  all  pastors  and  their  households  that  the  Lord  will reward their sacrifices.  Deut. 8:18; Isa. 45:3: let  us  pray  for  all  brethren  that  support  the  church‟s activities: that the Lord will abundantly bless their means of livelihood and increase their capacity to serve.  Isa. 41:10-12: let us remember our brethren that are going through challenges as a result of ill health, delays, difficulties, oppression of enemies etc: that the Lord will wipe their tears and change their testimonies.      Isa. 43:2-4: let us pray for protection of brethren at this time of insecurity.  1  Thess. 5:3: let us pray for the neutralization of IsIamization agenda in this country, and let us prophesy their end.  Isa.25:6: Let‟s  pray  for  the  success  of  the  April  Retreat;  that  all  participants will be brought to another level. Let it be a great feast of fat things.  Esth.6:6-10:  You are the person that the King delights to honour, what do you want?
