The 2025 December Retreat titled:
“Entering and Passing Through the Pool” is a milestone in the course of the ministry’s movement out of her wilderness phase to engage in the last glorious phase, as typified by Prophet Elijah’s ministry. The retreat was divinely designed to get the church into the consciousness of continual sanctification/purification through the water of God’s word (Jn.13:6-11; 15:3) as we await the soon coming King.
During the Cross Over service the word of God assured us of the Lord’s faithfulness: that He will remember our works and cause us to reap in righteousness (Ps.20:3-4). Then at the Internal Ministers’ Conference the man of God charged the ministers to work towards passing the congregation through the water of God’s word for cleansing, as we see the day of the Lord approaching (Jn.15:3; 13:10,11; 17:16-20; Heb.3:12-14; 10:24-25).
So as you participate in this exercise, be intentional in seeking purification by being punctual and attentive; using the daily ministrations as a mirror to assess your status; and appropriately responding to challenges that emerge from the convicting word of God (Pro.4:20-23; 6:20-22; Jas.1:23-24;1Cor.9:25-27).
The exercise is expected to equip and adorn participants with grace to soar like the eagle through the year (Isa.40:31). We have been severally informed that “you are what you know” and so the place of acquisition of actionable intelligence (knowledge) cannot be over emphasized (Pro.18:15; 24:3-5; Isa.33:6; Hos.4:6; Jn.8:12, 32; 2Pet.1:3).
The word of God that came at the beginning of the year assures us of harvest
– time to reap. There might have been delays or apparent denials experienced due to some ignorance or wrong doings, nevertheless, the Lord is set to use this 21 days exercise to clear the way (Isa.40:1-5).
Christian families must therefore sanctify themselves unto the Lord for the special divine visitation (Exo.19:7-15; Ps.50:5-6).
Employers and employees must carry about the sense of devotion while they conduct their secular commitments (1Cor.7:20-22). Businessmen/women must carry the right attitude of expectant persons as does a pregnant woman in the first trimester (S of S 2:15).
We must bear in mind that God is a Rewarder of diligent seekers (Heb.11:6) and that sacrifices never cease to speak especially when sacred (2Kgs.3:26-27; Ps.51:17; 20:3-4; Acts 10:1-6; Heb.12:22,24). The Lord will surely remember you, and visit you as you stand in righteousness as He did to Sarah, Rebekah, Rachael, Israelites in Egypt, Hannah etc. in your area of interest. Let us pray.
