DAY 3 Outline – DAGON SHALL BE DESTROYED – DEC, 2025 FIRST-FRUIT Prayers and Fasting

We set the prayer exercise rolling with the truth that “to the King belongs mercies” (Dan. 9:9); followed by “The King will Conquer”. (Ex. 12:12) Today, we are concluding the First Fruit Fasting exercise (not the fasting of the year) with a revelation that Dagon shall be assuredly destroyed.   Topic:               DAGON SHALL BE DESTROYED Subtext:         1 Sam. 5:1-7; 2 Thess. 2:3   A little reflection on the happenings in the nation side by side with our previous engagement in corporate prayers confirms the sayings of our GS that we rule with the Lord; and that the Lord is looking for prosecutors. Our corporate declarations have always been actualized: we have seen the warming up of erstwhile cold, indifferent persons/groups in the country who have begun to speak out. And we shall not relent until the daystar arises in our country (Jer.29:7).   Our texts bother on the Lord’s revelation of His Sovereignty unto the Philistines whom He had used to judge His erring people; breaking down their god; and the coming King’s termination of the rule of the Anti-christ.   In same vein, there are people the Lord used to judge our sinning nation, who are currently ascribing their escapades to their god; and are intent on stopping God’s programme by conquering the whole geographical space and enacting their law, thereby terminating God’s revival plan with our nation! (Isa.49:5,6).   We must report the matter to the Lord and request for the expression of His SIGNATURE as of old (Mal.3:6).   The scriptures reveal that the Lord is a Specialist in tackling matters that appear insurmountable. In fact, He claims to permit their development so as to show His glory (Exo. 9:16; Rom. 9:7).   So, the Lord saved His enslaved people that virtually had no hope of liberation through a mighty Hand (Deut. 26:8). He would not allow the Amorites to escape from Joshua during their conquest (Jos. 10:7-14). He humbled the boastful Benhadad whose military might was intimidating through His mechanism (1 Kgs. 20:1-34). Sennacherib’s loud mouth against the Lord was shut by the swords of God’s angel and his sons’ (2 Chro. 14:1-15). And 3 great nations that came against King Jehoshaphat were divinely plunged into inter racial war which terminated the confederacy, leaving Judah to take spoils without striking with any sword (2 Chro. 20:1-25).   Those events are the expression of the Divine signature (Rom. 15:4; Jn. 14:12-14, 16:23-24). Now, the invaders have boasted of their intent; let us ask the Lord to deal with their god as He dealt with the colleague, Dagon and those of Egypt (Exo.12:12). Hence, let Dagon be absolutely broken now, having had a partial experience (1Sam.5:3,4).   Prayer Points:   Ps.30:1-4 – Let’s take a moment to appreciate the Lord for all His goodness and favour towards us as a ministry and as individuals.

1. Acts 19:24-32; Isa.10:1-2; Pro.19:21 – Let us pray that people /politicians bent on destabilizing the nation to achieve their objective of discrediting the ruling party and removing them, not minding the wastage of human lives be stopped, arrested and prosecuted appropriately so as to put an end to such wicked strategies.

 

2. 11:6-8; Hos. 9:14 – Let us pray for loss of cohesion of all those (people/groups) involved in the fulanization agenda. Pray for internal rift and sharp misunderstanding amongst them. Pray that they lose their vision and terminate their mission. The Usman Dan Fodio agenda must suffer miscarriage.

 

3. Joel 2:25 – Let us pray that any gain that the peddlers of the agenda have made so far be lost as per land grabbing, etc.

 

4. 22:13,14 – Let us pray against all the kidnapping rackets: that the Lord will turn all the profits made through people’s blood against them, let the land reject them (2Kgs.17:24-26).

 

5. 30:1-5,10 – Let us pray that the humiliated military be invigorated to aggressively and decisively uproot the ruthless kidnappers. Let us also pray that all those in the security units or traditional institutions that are conniving with the criminals be exposed and properly disciplined by the Global body or US.

 

6. 30:13-16 – Let us pray and neutralize the powers that support the activities of the bandits; and the spells cast upon the nation through enchantments, blood sacrifice, etc, making people indifferent to the wrong happening in the country. Let us pray for revival of minds of citizens to build a nation where life is highly esteemed, corruption is abhorred, and no man is oppressed as exclaimed in the national anthem.
