FIRST FRUIT FASTING (November 2023) Day 1
Theme: THE CHARIOTS HAVE COME!
Texts: 2 Kgs.2:1-17; 6:8-22
Welcome to the penultimate month of the year, in the age of awesome amazement, even a season of spectacular success (Jos. 1:8). It has been a period of continual increase, following the principle of our God of increase Who causes us to grow: going from strength to strength. (Lk. 13:32; 1 Cor. 3:7; 2 Cor. 3:18).
Now, following the apostolic declaration of the angel of the Lord, there is a herd heave in the ministry such that the weak have become strong like David. Those like David have become like angels of God (Zech.12:8). Therefore, from the galloping mode, we are translated into the Celestial chariots made by the apostolic ordination (cons. Ps. 89:20; 92:10; Isa. 61:1).
In this three-day fasting exercise, we shall beam our light on the content of the consignment of the prevailing Celestial chariots (Ps. 68:17-19).
NB: It is required of God’s household to walk according to the principles of the kingdom – faith (2 Cor. 5:7; Gal. 3:11; Heb. 4:2; 6:12; 11:6)
The released anointing has empowered us to enjoy the privileges of divine enablement.
Our message shall come under the following subsections:
(A) The Chariot of Enabling Environment
(B) Climbing into the Chariot of Enabling Resources
(C) Conquering with the Chariot of Enabling Status.
Topic: THE CHARIOT OF ENABLING ENVIRONMENT
Subtext: 2Kgs.6:11-20
The word enables means to give someone the authority or means to do something. An enabling environment is a warm, welcoming, and nurturing space that facilitates accomplishing objectives, where risks are minimized and well managed.
In the Bible times, chariots were two-wheeled land vehicles often made of wood and straps of leather and drawn by horses.
They were vehicles of distinction used to travel (Gen. 41:42-43; 49:29) and for battle in which they may sometimes be fortified with iron plates (Exo. 14:7; Jer. 17:16; Judg. 1:19; 4:13). The possession of chariots in battlefields is always an advantage (Ps. 20:7; 1 Kings. 22:35; Isaiah 31:1; Nehemiah 2:4).
There are Celestial chariots that are part of heaven’s arsenal mobilized for warfare and other kingdom purposes (2 Kgs. 2:11; Ps. 68:17; Isa. 66:15; Habk. 3:8) Chariots applied figuratively to Elijah’s and Elijah’s power (2 Kgs. 13:14). It is noteworthy that the Lord is the God of peace, and loves peaceful environment; but frowns at violence or chaos (Rom. 15:33; 16:20; Jer. 29:7,11; Ps. 122:6-8; ct. Gen. 6:11-13).
One of the rewards for pleasing the Lord is the granting of peace in the mind or dwelling place/environment (Pro. 16:7;
Isa. 32:17).
One of the ways of securing peace is by evoking divine force in which angels (some with chariots) are positioned to institute peace (2 Kgs. 6:17; Ps. 91:11; Dan. 3:23-25; 6:22; cp. Matt. 26:50-53).
Peace is the culture medium of prosperity as it breeds an enabling environment to work (Jer. 29:7). It is the Lord’s prerogative to give an enabling environment to conduct His business (Ps. 24:1; Isa. 44:1-5; 58:14; Jn. 15:26; 1 Cor. 9:7- 10); even when there is an apparent opposition, He makes a
way out (Ezra 4:23-24; 5:1-5,17; 6:1-17; Pro. 16:7).
The Lord has promised His children ‘Jubilation’ irrespective of the exacerbating socio-economic downturn – nationally,
continentally and globally.
Our duty is to believe the man of God (Isa. 44:24,26; 2 Chronicles 20:20) and behave like Daniel, reminding the Lord of His promises (Dan. 9:1-3; Hab. 3:3; Zech. 1:5-6; Matt. 24:35).
We have an end-time mandate (Isa. 49:5,6), and the heavenly chariots of accomplishment have been released. Let us do the needful.
