(Prov.10:22) Today, we shall be addressing an expectation through the following message: Title:   MULTITUDES AFTER THE MOUNTAIN-TOP EVENT Text:     Matt.8:1-13 Naturally, human beings are attracted to and by positive things: things that are sweet, delicious, nice looking; friendliness; success; things that make for good news; bewilderment, supernatural events. Therefore, after the superlative Sermon on the Mount (the greatest ever delivered by man) captured in Matthew Chapters 5-7, His return to the field drew multitudes – the man had what people needed. After our 21-days fast, it is expected that there will be an influx of people to our assemblies, having entered another chapter of the Ministry’s calling: Era of Episodes of Joy. There is, therefore, a need to prepare for the harvest as he that fails to plan, plans to fail (Prov.6:6-9). l. There should be self-assessment (Lk.14:28-33) A. Spiritual Integrity: Confirm the integrity of your spiritual experiences viz Salvation (Rom.6:14, 2Cor.5:17), Sanctification (Matt.5:8, 1Thess.5:23, 1Jn.3:8-10), Spirit Baptism (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 1Cor.12:7-11) B. Spiritual Capacity: Check if you are capable of attending to newcomers to establish them. For those who are pastors: are you ready to work? For workers: are you prepared for a follow-up? Non-workers: decide to join the workforce as the Church age is winding up fast (1Thess.4:16-17). 2. There should be a physical plan to contain the overflow (Prov.6:6-9). The leadership of every unit must draw out strategies to contain the influx (Prov.13:4, 22:29). The membership must make a plan to support financially and otherwise (2Cor.9:7-8, Gal.6:7-9) As the multitudes come, the power of God will be available to heal and deliver (Lk.5:17). It is the period of episodes of joy following episodes of joy.
