Theme: WHEN BLOOD TOUCHES BLOOD Text: Hos. 4:1-3 Topic: IF DIVINE GLORY IS GUARANTEED, DIVINE GRANT IS GUARANTEED Sub-text: Jos.10:1-15 INTRODUCTION:In the preceding messages, we considered the sacredness of human blood (Lev.17:10,11,14) and the divine retribution that follows the shedding of the blood of the innocent i.e. people that are not worthy of death (cons. Gen.4:9-13). Then, we further showed that God’s covenant people (Israel) are not considered the same as others (Egypt) (Exo.8:22-24; 9:1-7; 10:23; 11:4-7). The Watchman is therefore required to make his argument at times of divine judgment to enjoy the preservation of the Lord.
The basis of our argument in prayer today is the assertion that says If divine glory is guaranteed (in a situation), divine grant will be guaranteed.
Our sub-text confirms the assertion: the massive confederation of five kingdoms (whom Israel encountered following the invitation of the threatened Gibeonites) was neutralized by the divine release of necessary resources (hailstones and power to stop the rotation of the earth for a season).
The Almighty God demands and rewards honour from man (Mal.1:6-7; 1Sam. 2:30) and desires praise and glory to His name (Isa.42:8,10,12; 43:21; 48:9). He identifies with anybody seeking to “get” glory for Him (cons. Judg16:23-30; 1Sam.17:4,8-11,20-26,45-50; 1Kgs.19:9-14; 2Kgs.19:1-7, 25-36).
So, the Lord will support any event that will give Him glory.
Now, any prayer made during any given challenge which is premised on the accordance of glory to the Almighty will always receive Divine attention and the subsequent release of necessary resources for the accomplishment of the objective.
Doubtlessly, the transformation of this nation to a springboard of the end-time gospel work will give God glory.
Let’s rise to pray.

Let’s thank the Lord for the truth assuring us of His full identification with/support of every petition that will yield His glory. Thank Him for the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement and her leadership: the GS who is a model and exemplary father.
■ (Isa.49:5,6, Jos.21:45) – Let us pray for excellence in the health and wisdom of the GS so that all promised him, will be achieved/fulfilled. Remember our Mummy and her children in this prayer.
■ (Ps. 92:12-14) – Pray for the elders that stand with GS that their health fails not neither should they drop out of the race. Pray that they remain fruitful at old age, for that will give God glory.
■ (Matt.24:14) – WCCRM with her base in Nigeria, was raised to take the end-time gospel to the ends of the earth. If the country remains directionless, corruption infested and economically drained, that mission will be terribly frustrated and God’s glory from her labour will be put on hold. Let us pray that the Almighty will put down and out all the persons that are directly or indirectly standing on the way to the accomplishment of this vision.
■ (Joel 2:23-27) – There are invaders (Herdsmen, Bandits, ISWAP, Boko-Haram) that have been acting like locusts: leaving a trail of destruction on their path and inhibiting economic growth. Their extinction will be a glory to God. Let us pray that:
I. the Lord will drive them back to where they came from (Exo.10:19)
ii. the spiritual powers that support them be neutralized: their charms fail them.
iii. the people in authority that support and sustain them be exposed and brought to book.
iv. The Lord raise a nation where there is equality and equity; where no man is oppressed.
■ (Gen.15:2) – Present your requests which if granted will redound to the glory of God.
