WATCHMAN CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL MOVEMENT FIRST FRUIT FASTING FELLOWSHIP 2026 (MAY EDITION) Day 3
Theme: REMARKABLE FEASTING FOR THE RESOLUTLY FAITHFUL
Texts: Esth.1:1-8; Isa.25:1-10
As we come to the last day of the 3 days feast, we need to recapitulate
on the messages delivered.
We were told that the Lord is set to give people feasting experiences irrespective of the prevalent conditions. And that He is set to follow 3 modes exemplified by 3 feasts He instituted namely:
Passover, PentecostandTabernacles.
On that first day, we considered the message freedom from the Passover where we x-rayed the events of the
Passoveratthelandof servitudewhichtypified the True Passover at Calvary. These brought freedom to the affected parties/needy persons.
On the second day, our message titled
Fruitfulness from the Pentecost revealed the divine plan to make people prosper (fruitful)throughtheestablishmentofthefeast, whichwas a typeoftheadventoftheHolySpirit. He came to give power to multiply (Jn.15:16; Acts 1:8).
Today, we shall be looking at

Topic: FAVOUR FROM THE TABERNACLES
Subtext: Zech.14:16-19
The feast of tabernacles or booths is the 3
rd of these annual feasts instituted by the Lord (Exo.23:16) which holds during the fall (September to mid-October). It is a 7 day festival that celebrates the autumn harvest (in gathering of the fruits of the land), and
commemorates God’s protection and provision during the 40 year wilderness wandering when they lived in temporary shelters (booths).
So booths were built as a reminder of the temporary dwelling places, divine protection and
provisionofmanna,
water, guidance:firebynight, cloud by day, shade for the noon-day sun; when the Lord showed Himself as
Jehovah Jireh (Gen.22:14).
The Jews celebrated this feast of joy in Jerusalem with great rejoicing as
the fruits are gathered from the 15
th day of the 7
th month (Num.29:12). People of other nations were invited to the temple in Jerusalem to worship the God of Israel (2Chro.6:32-33; Isa.56:7; Matt.21:13).
The feast is also prophetic, serving as a harbinger of the millennial reign when there will be the joyous last days ingathering of the nations (Zech.14:16).
The Lord Jesus celebrated the feast of tabernacles during which He made the famous declaration on receiving the Holy Spirit (Jn.7:2,37-38).
He teaches that we are to rejoice in the abiding presence of the Holy Ghost in our earthen vessels, as it gives a fore taste of the joy of the age to come (Isa.9:6,7; 11:1-9; 65:18-25; Matt.19:28-30).
It was this kind of atmosphere that was manifested at the mount of transfiguration that made the apostles to apply for immediate retention
of the venue as a new residence, not minding their family attachments (Lk.9:25-36; cp. Matt.8:14-15).
It must be remembered that the manifestation of the glory is to a people that are obedient or faithful, while retribution follows the rebellious or stubborn (Zech.14:16-19). As such times, wild, and dangerous creatures are tamed or benign; longevity is enjoyed, divine knowledge is escalated and Holiness unto the Lord is the watchword and song (Zech.14:21).
Today, though the world is embroiled in socio-economic chaos, the watchman must stand out as an oasis, weathering every storm and coming out as a sign (Isa.8:12-18).

Let people align with the Lord and taste of the glory amidst the grueling situations that have perfused the world.
The Lord is calling all to a season of feasts, and the only qualification is faithfulness in relationship with Him.
