The promises of God remain sure irrespective of the signs of the sights and sounds. As we make our war with the inspired words from the oracles of God, victory is guaranteed. (1Tim.4:13,14, Ezra 6:14,15) In the preceding month (9th), we were admonished to incline to the operating principle of ever-increasing glory through the message titled “Gravitating to ever-increasing glory”. With the declarations of that message, a Christ-ordained glory platform was unveiled (2 Cor. 3:18). It has a gradient enabled by the Spirit of God. In this October fasting edition, the church is set to operate in a ‘galloping mode’. A dictionary described ‘gallop’ as the fastest pace of a horse or other quadrupeds, with all the feet off the ground together in each stride. It is the horse’s gait at high speed. Galloping, which means going at the pace of a gallop, carries a sense of rapid progression. The object feels like flying, exhilarating and very windy. We had described ‘glory’ as multi-faceted, varying from divine expressions, the character and ways of God exhibited through Christ to and through believers, to a good reputation, praise, honour, etc. Our texts announce the rise of God’s glory upon Israel, which will attract the nations and cause the return of their children from afar; the wealth of the nations shall be brought in (Isa.60:1-5). Prophet Joel saw the same time as a time of bringing again the captivity of Judah, when the Lord gathers the oppressing nations for judgment and enables His people to fight and ultimately enjoy a harvest. (Joel 3:1-2, 7-10, 13-18) And the Lord Jesus said that He came to give divine life (Zoe), and that believers may enjoy it in more abundance than ever. (Jn.10:10 cp Matt.11:11) For the good appreciation of the message, we shall explore the following sub-topics: A. Awareness Of An Optimal Attainment B. Accelerating In The Galloping Altitude C. Achievement Of Admirable Acceleration A. Topic: AWARENESS OF AN OPTIMAL ATTAINMENT Subtexts: Jn.8:32, Phil.3:13-15 It is common knowledge that a major key to prosperity in any realm is knowledge whose lack has been the bane of mankind (Gen.3:1-20, Isa.5:13). It is also important to note that in the kingdom of God, there are various levels of saintly operation; determined by calling – personal or group (1 Cor. 7:20,12:4-11; Matt.25:1-12, 14-15, Ps.87:2), Exposure (2 Cor.12:1-9, 1 Cor.15:20) and Education – spiritual (Gal.1:11-17, 2:1-2, 2 Pt.3:15,16) There is the normal Christian life that demands the manifestation of Christ-likeness (Matt. 11:28,29, Jn.13:13-15, 20:21, Gal. 5:22-24). Whilst it is required of the believer to showcase these qualities before mortals, it is necessary to note that the judge that assesses all is the Lord, Who will bring out hidden things at the end (Rom.2:3-6,11-13,19-24, 2Cor.5:8-10,12-13) So the believer is discouraged from focusing on judging the performance of others while neglecting self. The child of God must learn how to regularly assess himself (2 Cor.13:5, Acts 24:16). The disciple must seek to satisfy God and not only to please men (Gal.1:10, 1Thess.2:5; Jn.15:26) The Lord will have all to bring forth fruits as He expects. Still, subliminal performance is not acceptable (Matt.25:25-30, Lk.19:20-26, Rev.3:15). The child of God is expected to increasingly shine wherever he finds himself (Matt. 5:14-16, Phil.2:15). He is to crave for optimal performance (Phil.3:13-15, 1Thess.1:5-7, 2:4-8,10-14, 1Tim.4:12, Heb.10:24). Are you shining? Is your intensity increasing? Are you impacting your habitat?
