For the past 3 years, the annual premier messages have enjoined us to trust the Lord for our guaranteed protection amidst the perils of the time.
Last year, the angel of the church informed us that an era of episodes of joy touching episodes of joy had begun; the testimonies still coming from our locations confirm. We were equally informed that whatsoever negative circumstance encountered shall be alright. It is noteworthy that, these rhema did not terminate with the year 2022, but are still active (Heb.4:12; 1Pet.1:25).
At the Cross Over night of this year, the angel of God to the church unveiled the principle of perpetual preservation which if followed will drive the disciple to his divine destiny. The principle is about identifying with God’s will and making reasonable arguments with God based on the word, (Matt.6:10; Isa.43:26; 1:18; Job 23:3,4). It was termed “The Mechanism of Victory”. It must be understood that the messages from the pulpit of many colours are not the enticing words of man’s wisdom; but rather given to power the church to the fulfillment of divine purpose. (Ezr.6:14; 2Chro.20:20; Isa.44:24,26; 1Cor.2:4).
Then, the word of the Lord came saying “Anyone who sees and calls upon Me concerning King Jesus – eye hath not seen…” from which the theme of the year was drawn.
Before explaining the theme; it is good that participants be informed of the need to invite needy friends, and neighbors during the last week of the programme, for their divine attention and intervention. It shall be a time of manifestation of God’s superlative power. (Lk.5:17; 9:43).
Let’s proceed to discuss the theme:-
Definition of theme:
Age in our context means “a distinct period of history. Awesome means extremely impressive or daunting”, inspiring awe (a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder). Amazement means a feeling of great surprise.
The adjective ‘awesome’ intensifies the degree of the amazement. This divine promise awaits those that meet the divine demand (1Cor.2:9,10; Isa.25:1-8; 26:1-9).
Demand of the Lord:
The Lord requires that we reciprocate His love as we accept Christ and live for Him (Jn.3:16; 2Cor.5:15; Rom.12:1; Jn.14:21). Those that live for Christ stay away from sin, and have faith in Him. (Phil.1:21; 2Tim.1:12) and habitually dispense the good news (Rom.10:15; Lk.4:18). When such call upon Him, there is always a divine response (Jer.29:11-12; 33:2,3). So one’s arguments should be channeled towards the gospel work i.e. what will make or mar it (Jer.9:23,24; Isa.45:9)
The Lord never promised a challenge-free life (con. Jn.11:33), but rather guarantees His abiding presence and support (Jn.15:4,5; 16:21-24; Ps.91:1-3).
The onus is on the child of God to make knowledge-based arguments in prayers to see the unfailing finger of God manifest (Isa.1:18; 2Chro.20:5-17).
We shall commence our exploration of knowledge yielding messages to acquire treasures for the walk of wonders in this era of amazement.
