OUTLINES

It has been established that irrespective of the negative circumstances that may becloud the globe, the word of the Lord holds supreme. Our God is addicted to putting a difference between His people and others. He is even very disposed to giving strangers for the lives of His people (Isa.43:3). And the manifestation of His promises is not dependent on the nature of the difficulty on the ground or clemency of the weather (Isa.55:8-10, 1Kgs.8:56).   We are in an era of conception and parturition; among things to conceive is awareness of Whom we are serving, hence our topic ‘seeing the manifestation of the Lord’.   During the LEAP Declaration of 17.07.2019, we were informed that it is the day of the Lord proper. That means that it is a season of manifestation of the power of God. This further means that as with seasons, the revelation of God’s power will be more easily realized at such a time. (Lk.5:17, Acts 2:41-43, 5:17-25)   While no mortal can see God and live (Ex.33:20, Jn.1:18), men have witnessed the vivid manifestation of God (Ex.24:9-12). And the scriptures reveal the keys to such experiences   The first key to ample manifestation of God’s presence is separation from sin and the world, unto God that is Holiness of life (Matt.5:8, Heb.12:14 ct Isa.59:1-2)   The word ‘see’ in Matt.5:8 and Heb.12:14 came from the Greek word optanomai (pronounced  op-tan-om-ahee) which means ‘to gaze at something remarkable with wide-open eyes. It, therefore, means that the pure in heart, followers of the holiness of life will gaze at God’s manifestation.   It should be noted that when people are not living right but yet experience some spiritual manifestations, the source is none other than the kingdom of darkness (Job 14:4).   The expected divine manifestation in the interim can be informed of visions, voices, and veritable deeds; and will always ultimately better the life of the beneficiary (Matt.5:8; Gen.28:10-19, Ex.3:1-6, 1Kgs.19:4-13, Lk.5:8-11, Jn.4:39-42, 9:1-16 ct Lev.10:1-3, Acts 5:1-11).   There are times that the Lord chooses to use His manifestation to work deeper experiences in His people (Ex.19:9, 20:18-21, Isa.6:1-7, Matt.16:27-28, 17:1-9, Lk.5:8-11).   Whatever be the case, let’s request for divine manifestations that our faith may be strengthened thereby (Judg.6:36-40, Matt.14:14-21).             HSCF 200, 204, 207   WATCHMAN CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL MOVEMENT 2021 FIRST FRUIT FASTING EXERCISE    Jan.20 – Feb. 2021                                            (Day 3)   Theme:          IDYLLIC ERA OF CONCEPTION AND PARTURITION Topic:            SEEING THE MANIFESTATION OF THE LORD Texts:             Ex.3:1-5, 24:9-12
